Suzanne Stauffer is a wife, mother, and breastfeeding advocate who helps mothers work through some of the most challenging and rewarding times in their relationships with their children when breastfeeding. She is the mother of five children and has been married to Erich Stauffer since 2002. Suzanne can be contacted about breastfeeding support, mommy blogging, or knitting. She also runs her own Young Living Essential Oils business, Living Happy Oils. Thanks for visiting.
Suzanne is a stay at home mom and wife to Erich. She has five children; Princess M (8), Princess C (5), Prince K aka Little Dude (3), and Prince S (2/25/11). We live in a little town in Indiana. Erich works from home doing business consulting and web design. We are a homeschooling, breastfeeding, cloth diapering, babywearing family. We recycle and are interested in gardening, canning, baking, sewing, and knitting. I’m an advocate of Motivated Moms, a chore calendar that has really helped me reign in control of my house. You can buy a copy here. I’m also a La Leche League Leader as well as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). In my “spare” time, I knit and sew for my own little business Cloth Beginnings.
I also have PCOS. My first daughter was conceived on Clomid, my second daughter was a concoction of several different injectable fertility drugs and good old fashioned baby making, my son was conceived while taking insulin sensitizing drugs, and our fourth was conceived with Clomid. I’ll occasionally talk about fertility issues and our TTC journey. We are open to more children as God sees fit to bless us with.
“Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are the children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.” Psalm 127: 3-5
